Josefův Důl is often called „the gateway to Jizera Mountains“ as it is the best starting point for hiking, cycling and skiing trips. The lodge is situated right by the accessway to Jizera Trail, so it spares you a tiring trip from the valley, as well as worries where to park your car . The lodge consists of two buildings, right next to each other, built in a traditional mountain style and offering homely atmosphere.

The lodge can accommodate up to 40 people, in rooms and suites meeting modern standard
