Thanks to its location and climate, Jizerské mountains belong to the coldest areas in the Czech Republic, which means that ski season here lasts from December to mid-April, but May skiing is not exceptional either.

There is a private ski tow rope for children between the buildings and the adjoining slope is suitable for beginners.

Downhill skiers can use a nearby skilift Lucifer in Josefův Důl or they can set off for a nearby bigger ski resort.

Since 2012 there is a skibus service connecting ski resorts Tanvaldský Špičák, Hrabětice, Bedřichov and ski lifts in Josefův Důl.

Peklo lodge is an ideal starting point not only for downhill skiers. Cross country skiers will be pleasantly surprised, that after 5 min walk from the lodge, they get to snowmobile made ski trails and after three more kilimetres they reach the spinal Jizera Trail, offering up to 170 km of snowmibile made ski trails (according to snow conditions).

Our own snow groomer maintains ski trails around the lodge and the ski slope between the buildings.
